Are you in need of a tooth extraction? Or have you lost some teeth and are not sure what the right tooth-replacement choice is? Thanks to modern dentistry, we have plenty of options for getting your smile back!

An older, popular remedy for lost teeth, dentures in modern dentistry go a long way in completing smiles. At Garden City Implant Dental, we provide our patients with dentures, partial dentures and implant-supported dentures.

  • Dentures fully replace the teeth of edentulous patients.
  • Partial dentures can replace sections of teeth on our patients who still have some of their original teeth in good, functioning health. The teeth provide stability for the partial dentures, with metal wires serving as attachments.
  • Implant-supported dentures rely on four to six strategically placed dental implants that stabilise the dentures to avoid unwanted movement and prevent the dentures from falling out. Please note that implant-supported dentures are not the same as dental implants.

Dental Implants

To replace individual teeth, many patients receive dental implants as an effective method to bring their smiles back to life and restore their chewing and speaking functions. We can also replace full arches of teeth with dental implants. Dental implants rely on a titanium screw inserted into the jawbone that later has a dental crown placed on top of it to resemble and function as a normal tooth.

Some patients missing several teeth may feel concerned about which treatment is best for them. To find the optimal treatments for our patients, we arrange consultations to figure out how to help our patients fill in the gaps in their smiles.
